Sometimes we need to take a step back, stop judging, and try to understand how the other half lives. In this regard, the Israelis are often far ahead of us. They developed a celebrated television series, “Srugim,” dedicated to explaining (glorifying?) the lives of Modern Orthodox singles. And now comes a new animated series, “The Streimels,” that through humor and drama, demonstrates the human side of chasidic life, explores the close-knit family structure, and reveals the exquisite, secret beauty of that society.
Thanks to Frum Satire for bringing this important educational series to our awareness.
Great intro bernie.
