_This Ain’t the Munsters_: The _Heeb_ Review

Just in time for the Halloween, Hustler‘s porn homage to The Munsters, This Ain’t the Munsters, aims for groin-area rigamortis, but the ratio of peanut butter cups to candy corn in this bag of treats is unfortunately way off.

I don’t know about you, but when I press play on my novelty monster porn, I’m looking for a squid getting its tentacles inside a busty headless bimbo. I realize that this is a bit much to ask from mainstream porn these days. Fortunately, in This Ain’t the Munsters we do (sort of) get the payoff in last half hour with a soft-core bondage scene in a cemetery. This is followed by the movie’s swan song: a romp between Herman and Lily Munster played by Lee Stone and Roxy Deville, who deserve major kudos for doing it in full body makeup.

In full disclosure, I missed the original family-friendly Munsters T.V show by a little over two decades, so some of the parody tidbits probably eluded me. However, from the standpoint of pure laughs, it’s easily better than anything Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer have done. The plot revolves around Herman Munster getting a “new” body part as an anniversary gift for his wife. There’s also a parody of “leaked” celebrity porn videos, which features rockstar Eddie Munster and two gothic groupies. Funny stuff, but _This Ain’t the Munsters_ probably won’t get you a "rise" from the dead.
