Last weekend, geeks abounded at the “2007 San Diego Comic-Con”:http://www.comic-con.org/, as junior movie studio execs, graphic novelists, and Boba Fett groupies gathered to celebrate the man-child universe.
After the fans, fanatics and fantastic artists, corporations were front and center trying to make a buck on the latest trends and retro-revivals. Toy companies from all over presented products they plan to distribute between now and next year, such as characters from “_The Warriors_, _Lost_, and _The Godfather_”:http://retrocrush.buzznet.com/archive2007/comic-con/.
Personally, none of the those thrill me half as much as what Comic-Con toy vendor Mezco is already “preselling on their website”:http://www.mezcotoyz.com/products.asp?pline=goo-001. It might be 22 years late, but Goonies never say die.

personally, I would opt for a Mama Fratelli doll, as Anne Ramsey is severely under-represented in the movie tchochke scene.
as an added bonus, when people come over and ask to use the bathroom I can have her go “On the right! Stay to the right!!”
