5,769 years in the making, there is finally a blog dedicated to Jewish baseball players. Jews on First is written by a dedicated Baltimore Jewish baseball fan who started this blog to "honor his Jewish heritage and to highlight and celebrate Jewish major leaguers, past and present." Jews on First keeps track of all the "bashing boychiks, Hebrew hurlers, and magnificent mensches," by reporting on how every Jew in the Major Leagues performed each day. For instance, Jose Bautista of the Blue Jays didn’t see any action against the Rangers last night. However, Ryan Braun of the Brewers hit a two-run homer. And his mother wanted him to be a lawyer.
Not to steal JewsonFirst’s thunder, but I just wanted to blow a shofar for Kaplan’s Korner (http://njjewishnews.com/kaplanskorner), a blog about Jews and sports from the New Jersey Jewish News.
