On Monday, Time magazine released its 50 Best Websites of 2008, and it’s stupid.
In a sad attempt to come across like professional websurfers who’ve got the scoop on up-and-coming domains, the digital arm of the media’s token old fart rag instead comes across desperate, clueless and boring by plugging URLs that are either totally arbitrary (e.g. a tabloid site that reports on black celebs) or totally useless. Case in point: the number one spot was taken by Gas Buddy, a site that helps you drive all over the fuckin’ place to find the cheapest pumps in town.
I like Time magazine :(
i literally laughed out loud. well played.

good call.
just another example of boomer hacks convincing themselves t they’re savvy because they recently heard their college sophomore son, brenden or whoever, drop what they feel must a “buzzword.”
it’s the root of all worthless and outdated trend
