William Shatner has gone from spaceship captain to Ben Folds sidekick to talking head for an online flight-booking company. It seems only natural that his next step would be to take on Biblical storytelling.

In 2005, Shatner took the vocal reins on "Exodus: An Oratorio In Three Parts," a theatrical retelling of the Passover story accompanied by the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra. Apparently, the Jewish Music Group record label (purveryors of all things Debbie Friedman) finally understand that the consumers of Jewish music are not all lesbian and humorless.
