It’s hard to feel all that sorry for Seth Rogen, whose life of smoking weed and being a mega-popular movie star sounds pretty nice. Still, even my Grinch-y heart (“Oh christ, a Grinch reference? It’s not even Thanksgiving! They’re coming earlier every year“) grew a few sizes larger after hearing Seth explain how, as a wee canuck, he was inexplicably deprived of my favorite holiday because, as his folks told him, “Jewish people did not celebrate Thanksgiving in Canada”.
