Sacha Baron Cohen Cuts Jackson Jokes From _Bruno_

Michael Jackson’s sudden death at the age of 50 shocked fans around the world. Quincy Jones was "absolutely devastated" and Cory Feldman was in "great sadness" over losing "the greatest entertainer in the history of mankind."

However, the most unusual tribute came from Sacha Baron Cohen. Cohen–in a rare move that required no legal action–cut the LaToya Jackson scene from his movie, Bruno, "out of respect for Jackson’s family."

Entertainment Weekly describes the deleted scene:

"Ms. Jackson, who did not appear to be in on the joke, gamely tried to answer Bruno’s questions even as he interrogated her about her brother Michael and tried surreptitiously to find Michael’s number on her cellphone. The scene ended, as most things in Bruno’s world do, with a moment of raw, funny discomfort."

If only those beer-guzzling frat guys from Borat were so lucky.

What do you think?
