Polanski’s European Vacation Extended

A hearing on Roman Polanski’s attempt to have his 1977 rape case dismissed, which would allow the director to return from his 32-year exile in France, was put on hold. Polanski’s lawyer, who claimed the entire Los Angeles Superior Court was biased against his client, motioned for the hearing to be halted.

Personally, I’d love to see Polanski make it back to the States. I just hope he realizes how much has changes since the 70s. Namely his “victim,” Samantha Geimer, who has transformed from a Lolita-like temptress into the spitting image of the woman behind the counter at my local food co-op.

What do you think?
