Obama “Just Too Good”

I smell a coverup. The Chicago Tribune recently blew the lid off of the suppression of a 2001 episode of Chicago restaurant review show "Check, Please!" featuring none other than OUR FUTURE PRESIDENT.

Apparently, the episode never made it to the airwaves because Obama was just too awesome for the public access program, leading his supreme awesomeness to make everyone else feel all bad about themselves.

…the president-elect was too good—too thoughtful, too articulate, not enough of an amateur. He ended up dominating the conversation. "It was unbalanced," Manilow said, "to put it charitably."

Well, what do you expect from the future president of the United States–he who will save the world (or at least fix health care and give us all jobs and puppies)?

Never fear, members of the Obamanation–the show will see the light of day. It’s airing–in all of its mundane entirety–on January 16.

Perhaps Manilow’s got his eye on that FDA Commissioner gig.

What do you think?
