Nerd Alert

Astute observers of Jewdar may have detected a slight tendency towards caustic cynicism on our part. When it comes to comic god Neil Gaiman, however, we hold our tongue, since in our estimation, the comic book scribe, novelist, kiddie book author and screenwriter is like the Sammy Davis, Jr. of the literary world. And we are not alone, as evidenced by the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund shindig on Saturday, November 8, which features a live reading of some of his greatest hits. Please be aware that while Sandman is super cool, we can’t make any promises about the audience.
