Michael Richards’ Son?

During his eight-year career, Micheal Ray Richardson was one of the most notable and quotable players in the NBA. Like when he famously remarked to a reporter of the Knicks’ season: “The ship be sinking.” Well, today his flair with words has earned him a one-way ticket to the “Hebrew school principal’s office”:http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2816356. Richardson’s outburst may be inspiring comparisons to Michael Richards’ n-word whooping, but he’s actually more like a coked-up version of Yogi Berra (To be fair, Yogi never said “It ain’t over til the Jews are over.”).

I must admit I feel a special kinship with Micheal Ray. No not because of the substance abuse. And not because neither of us spell our first names “M-i-c-h-a-e-l.” Mostly because I also take solace in the fact that I’ve got “_big-time Jew lawyers_.”:http://www.ifridman.com/clients.html
