In MK’s world "the recession" is a less a complex set of economic forces performing a stranglehold on our collective well-being, but a funny word that people use to liven up cocktail conversation. She joked that she got a hat for cheap at "the recession" section of Barney’s. "That’s where I got this! The recession!," Page Six overheard. Girl’s got control though, resisting the $410 menorah she was admiring for her bedroom.
