So caught up has Jewdar been with the holiday spirit that we almost forgot to give a shout-out to Heeb contributor Jayson Littman who was recognized by the Forward as the “mayor” of the gay Jewish party scene. We are happy for Jayson, but as is often the case among the Jews, our joy is tempered by a little sorrow. All these parties and not a single invitation? To be sure, it’s not likely that Jewdar would come (1: You people play your dance music soooooooooo loud and 2: The sight of Jewdar in a g-string and go-go boots is not something even the worst homophobe would wish on his gayest gay enemy), but still, would it kill you to to ask?
