Heeb Storytelling: Jackie “The Joke Man” Martling Remembers “the Best Jew I Know”

(video after the jump)

Heeb Storytelling had a very special event at Joe’s Pub in New York City last month with seven-minute stories from Onion writer Aaron Kheifets, stand-up comedian DC Benny, writer Peter Hyman (The Reluctant Metrosexual), comedian and writer Jessi Klein (Saturday Night Live) and other clever, interesting people.

Jackie "The Joke Man" Martling (Jackie’s Joke Hunt, The Howard Stern Show, www.jokeland.com) closed the night with a tale of his "favorite Jew," Jacob Cohen (a.k.a. Rodney Dangerfield). The former Howard Stern producer tells about joking around (and even pissing) with his biggest comedic influence and one of the all-time greats.

If you’re in the New York area on February 16, come to Heeb Storytelling at Galapagos Art Space in Brooklyn. Can’t make it? Pick up a copy of Sex, Drugs and Gefilte Fish: The Heeb Storytelling Collection and enjoy an irreverent Jewish story whenever you like.

I still can’t believe that Jackie isn’t an MOT
Can’t we trade him for Michael Bolton or Gene Simmons for fuck sakes!
