A comedy festival without Jews is like a Cher concert without gays–i.e. inconceivable. But however daunting a venture this may be, a group of bone-tickling Arabs are going to a take a heartfelt stab at it. Amman, Jordan hosts the first stand-up comedy festival in the Middle East from December 2-5. The lineup includes performances by Ali Hassan, Maz Jobrani and _Heeb_ favorite Dean Obeidallah.
