Synth-pop g-ds Depeche Mode were forced to postpone the first leg of their European tour due to lead singer Dave Gahan’s battle with gastroenteritis, commonly known as stomach flu. At least we know it’s not swine flu! Bad dum cha. But seriously, we wish Gahan (born to a Jewish bus driver in Essex for those keeping score at home) the quickest of recoveries.
