Enter Sandman

At Sunday’s MTV movie awards, Adam Sandler was presented with the Generation Award in Song and Dance. The award, which had been bestowed upon Tom Cruise in 2006, was presented by the underpants-clad Scientologist to Sandler in what had to be the strangest on-screen pairing since George W. Bush and Stephen Colbert.

Sandler proceeded to sing a modified version of "Nobody Does It Better" — that’s right, the Bond song from 1977’s "The Spy Who Loved Me." Though it had its high points, including a killer guitar solo and a Kevin James/Rob Schneider ballet duet, the Sandman’s voice isn’t exactly equipped for anything beyond Opera Man.

What do you think?
