Eh, It’s a Living

Many’s the time that Jewdar has leafed through a copy of _Martha Stewart Living_ and noted the sad efforts to include the Jews in the holiday craftwork. There, scattered about the pages and pages of Easter eggs and Christmas tzotchkes would be a lone little seder centerpiece or marzipan menorah. Who knows how many anal-retentive Jews have been lost through the years as they abandoned the faith of their forefathers for the sake of elaborate papercuts and wicker baskets? Now, the bleeding can stop and the healing begin, thanks to “_Jewish Living Magazine_”:http://www.jewishlivingmag.com/, a new periodical crafted precisely for those Jews who had always felt left out by all the fun at Martha’s mag (and just so you know, the uber-wasp is actually a Jersey City Pole who acquired the “Stewart” from her Jewish husband—where _he_ got it from, we’ll never know. Even after she ditched the man, she kept the moniker).

Granted, _Heeb_ can afford to be magnanimous, since we doubt that our loyal fan base, which can barely keep focus through 100 words on Corey Feldman, will desert us for the dubious pleasures of churning their own kosher butter. Still, we sincerely welcome this newest arrival to the Jewish magazine family, certain that now all our Jewish continuity problems will finally be solved or, at the very least, will no longer be blamed on _Heeb_.
