But even though the owner of Houston-based Katz Coffee may be the Scarface of java, he wields his influence for good: using fair trade beans in his 60-plus flavors of coffee and donating 50 cents from each pound sold to charity. Katz’s is a caffeinated empire that shows no sign of crashing.
