Jewdar was all set to write a scathing review of GOP Jewess and Hawaii Head Honcho Linda Lingle‘s intro to Sarah Palin‘s speech the other night, but then we got this breaking news: A threequel to Ghostbusters is in the offing.
Like all truly good people, we thought Lingle‘s speech, in which she touted the superiority of mayor/governor candidates over senator candidates, was completely oblivious both to the fact that McCain is a senator and that the next speaker was ex-America‘s Mayor Rudy Giuliani, was terrible. Like all truly good people, we also think that the first two Ghostbusters are great, and, having watched them with the little Jewdars, both hold up very well. Now, we like to think the best of people, and ever optimistic, we hope for the best. But considering what happened the last time Dan Akroyd made a sequel to a classic 1980‘s comedy, we are willing to back any candidate who‘ll shut the ghostbusters down.
