_Millionaire Matchmaker_ Gettin’ Hitched

Patti Stanger, the loud yenta who pairs eccentric millionaires with slutty out-of-work actresses on Bravo’s Millionaire Matchmaker, has caught herself a catch. Andy Friedman finally put a ring on Stanger’s finger six years after the couple was introduced by another matchmaker.

Although Friedman didn’t close the deal in an episode, let alone a season, he did follow Stanger’s rule: "If you go out a year and he doesn’t propose, it goes up a carat a year." On May 31st, while celebrating Stanger’s birthday on Maui, Friedman proposed with a four-carat ring. Despite the JAPy ring rule, Stanger insists she wants a low-key wedding–preferably in Vegas. Frankly, if I had a ring that big, I probably wouldn’t care where I was getting married either.
