Meet Todd Rosenberg, also known as "Odd Todd" from Oddtodd.com, an animated site about a day in the life of ablue bathrobe-wearingunemployed guy. The site was a viral smash hit during the dot-com boom, and since then, Todd has produced over fifty "Odd Todd" shorts and games, writtenThe Odd Todd Handbook: Hard Times, Soft Couch(Warner Books), which is in development at Comedy Central, and penned a live-action screenplay for Paramount. Currently, he produces animated segments for The IFC Media Project, America’s Test Kitchen and ABC World News. He is a commentator for NPR’s All Things Considered and has been visibly nervous on The Today Show, CNN and MSNBC. Todd’s “My Whole Hair Story,” (read an excerpt after the jump) appears inSex, Drugs & Gefilte Fish, and we recently caught up with him to answer our SDGF questionnaire:
What was your worst Sex experience?
I hadn’t "practiced" with condoms before and for some reason I assumed I knew how to use them. In the crucial moment I realized I was way wrong. I ended up fumbling around and unrolling the whole thing, then stretching it out wide and pulling it on like a sweater. The tip was hanging off all flippy-floppy. I knew it wasn’t right. She said, ‘Is that right?’ Whatever. It was right enough.
What was your best Drugsexperience?
I was high on ‘shrooms with friends and we were looking around a construction site. The floor was covered with a thin layer of water. The moonlight was coming in through one of the windows and when we stepped into the room, the whole place exploded with light rippling all over the walls and ceiling. It was like a watery disco.
What was your worst Gefilte Fish experience?
My aunt was serving gefilte fish that looked relatively "authentic" and she went around the table with a bowl asking if we wanted sauce. I assumed it was something like a horseradish sauce. But it wasn’t. It was gelatin disgustingness. She put a full scoop of the stuff right on top of the gefilte fish. It made a suction noise as it left the ladle.
