Any reasonable person knows that when someone says “the holiday season” they mean “Christmas”. So, when Jimmy Fallon and Rashida Jones made this seasonal song parody for Jimmy’s late-night talk show, I appreciated that they at least mentioned Hanukkah, if for no other reason than to pay lip service to their Jewish viewers and network heads. But – And I’m looking this gift horse squarely in the mouth here – twenty five (not particularly funny) seconds out of a four minute (not particularly funny) medley?

I think that Rashida Jones was doing it because she IS Jewish and celebrates Chanukah.
