I’ve long wondered about the true identity of one Rabbi Pinky Schmecklestein. Not that his commentaries on Torah readings are the biggest stitch, but apparently plenty of kosher kiddos follow his writings on www.theknish.com.
I tracked down Rav. Schmecklestein over the weekend via email. After multiple exchanges, the wise man acknowledged to being in his "early forties, working in the corporate world, and living in a modern Orthodox community with eighteen children and four hundred grandchildren." Quite a lot of schtupping for a rabbi, even for a Schmecklestein.
