As soon as we saw the news about Iowa legalizing same sex marriage, we knew it was coming, and lo and behold, just a few days later, Vermont follows suit. Let’s be clear, we have no problem with gays, but we think that that Midwestern values belong in the Midwest. If we’d wanted to live in a modern day Sodom, we would have stayed in Wisconsin. So, as Iowan values spread to the rest of the Atlantic seabord, we want to make plea for the simple, homespun virtues of Manhattan, and ask that you not impose your morals on us.
