I take off and head over to the Convention Center. I narrowly miss a performance by Daniel Johnston. Drats. In my mind, experiencing Daniel Johnston in Austin is akin to experiencing Van Gogh in Arles. Two geniuses, late in their careers, with their peculiar blend of personality disorder, religious devotion and frustrated sexuality….
