Heeb celebrated its European release at the Jüedische Kulturtage (Jewish Culture Days) in Berlin as over 500 waited in line for a night of banging sound, video projections, and art installation. The always-glamorous Raven Snook had the crowd howling with an outrageous gender-bending and ass-baring cabaret performance. Afterwards, the statuesque Tamy Ben-Tor delivered “Electro Yiddish” dressed as a nightmarish nurse equipped with a Casio guitar keyboard and a bronze Jewish-star armband. Berlin hadn’t seen such decadence since the Weimar era.
