_Heeb_’s critically-acclaimed storytelling series played to a maximum capacity crowd at the swanky Three Clubs on Tuesday, June 21. The event was hosted by The Sklar Brothers (ESPN’s Cheap Seats) and featured stories by Aimee Bender (author of The Girl in the Flammable Skirt), Eric Friedman (_Show and Tell_), Stephen Glass (former New Republic journalist, author of The Fabulist and subject of Shattered Glass), Lori Gottlieb (NPR commentator and author of Stick Figure), Jon Kesselman (writer/director of The Hebrew Hammer) and Wendy Spero (Comedy Central’s Premium Blend). Afterwards, the mag’s minions headed over to an after-party at the fabulous La-La Land Gallery for 3-D art, karaoke and other Heeb hijinks.

And if that wasn’t enough, Heeb sashayed down the red carpet at the LA Filmfest on Friday, June 24 for the world premiere of David Fenster’s Trona, and then, to the legendary Kibitz Room at Canter’s Delicatessen. The after-party was sponsored by Red Stripe and capped off an action-packed week of Heeb capers.
