Heeb vs. Vanity Fair: Softball Grudge Match
Photos by Mike Garten We suffered our second loss in softball this week, this time to Vanity Fair at a squeaking score of 4-2. For his game-losing error at second base that allowed two runs for VF, resident dreidel hustler Brian Abrams took some licks afterward from some testosterone-fueled teammates. But all things considered, a two-run deficit is quite a feat for our ragtag bunch (especially against a team that owns matching cleats). Never would we have suspected one tipsy infielder’s mistake would hold us back from our first W.
