Six Appeal
Although some may imagine that the mark of true success is being mentioned in the New York Times, Jewdar has never been that impressed. How hard can it be? Be nominated by a major party to national office, win a Nobel prize, die after a lifetime of achievement—sure, these are important, but any newspaper will write about you for those things. But getting a positive mention on Page Six?
Last Friday, Heeb managed to edge out the Hiltons and Lohans of the world to nab a spot in the Paper of Record (well, at least the paper of record of semi-literates like us). Coming on the heels of being tapped by the Chicago Tribune as one of America’s fifty best magazines, Jewdar would strongly recommend that those reading this make strenuous efforts to avoid Heeb editors for the next few days, as we’re even more sickeningly smug than usual.
