Van Gundy’s Coronation Postponed
Last night, LeBron James and the Cavaliers postponed Stan Van Gundy’s march to NBA superstardom by beating the Orlando Magic 112-102. Van Gundy’s Magic still lead the best of seven series three-to-two and have two more chances to advance to the finals. Meanwhile, even The Onion is chiming in on Van Gundy’s coaching acumen.
Who Needs Kobe vs. LeBron When You’ve Got Stan Van Gundy?
Though the Denver Nuggets evened up the Western Conference Finals with the Los Angeles Lakers last night and the Orlando Magic pulled ahead of the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday, it seems pretty much a forgone conclusion that it will be Kobe vs. LeBron at the end of the day–or at least that’s what the television...

Whether it was Virgil Starkwell robbing a bank with a “gub” (Take the Money and Run), Miles Monroe beating a man insensible with a strawberry (Sleeper) or Cliff Stern plagiarizing love letters from the works of James...

In Defense of Courtney Love
On Friday, Page Six ran an item on our recent interview with Courtney Love and focused on her purported "anti-Semitic ravings." The evidence? A line half-way through the 5,550 word piece in which she states: "Every time you buy a Nirvana record, part of that money is not going to Kurt’s child, or to me,...
