The stunning streamlined glass and stainless steel steeper first made a splash when specs of the teapot made it onto design and trend watching websites. From that moment, Roth was playing catch-up to the buzz surrounding his creation, selling the Sorapot and its accompanying teacups directly from his website. The Brooklyn-based artist is now the most talked about “startup” industrial designer around, showing that he’s not just a tempest in a teapot.
